Hazel is an artist living and working in London. Her tarot readings are offered either online or in person. Tarot readings are offered on a sliding scale pricing according to income. Hazel uses the cards as a medium for gentle intuitive listening, as an alternative modality to counselling. Hazel provides tarot sessions for life strategy, increased creativity, processing difficult moments of transition, or to explore whatever is felt within the querent at the moment of enquiry. As an artist Hazel uses a rich array of symbolism in her work, she sees the process of tarot reading as a therapeutic process of guided meditation and a vehicle for dialogue. Here are some areas that past clients have found it helpful to have support with:
Tarot for life transitions
Tarot for depression and anxiety
Tarot for creativity
Tarot for grief
Tarot for problem solving
In sessions, Hazel works predominantly with the Rider-Waite-Smith deck illustrated by Pamela Coleman Smith. However, readings with a selection of other decks are offered too.
Hazel has studied Fine Art and Art History at Edinburgh University. She likes to bring to the discussion of ideas, storytelling, mythology, zodiac references, to provide an experience that is both imaginatively stimulating, and provides space for the querent to mind map using a range of different spreads.

“The tarot reading was very interesting and eye opening. I found it a good opportunity to think more introspectively about my strategy and goals within my career, and it left me with lots of thought starters. It also brought to light a few things I am subconsciously aware of, but hadn't really put much thought or energy into. Overall I found it really insightful, and would definitely come back. Hazel has a really calming energy, and you feel like you can really be open with her.” - Stephanie, Illustrator and Designer.

“Despite being a reader of the Tarot cards myself, I was intrigued by Hazel's focus offering Tarot for Creativity. I'm a writer just starting an edit on a novel and wondered if some direction from the cards may help. Hazel didn't disappoint - I have felt energised ever since, bursting with new avenues of thought and looking forward to editing 90,000 words... for once...
I enjoyed Hazel's style of intuitive reading, particularly as she brought in her vast experience of creativity and inspiration. Her observations were spot on, of course guided by the cards, but interpretation is everything. This will not be the last time I have a reading with Hazel Florez.” Lynn, Scotland
“In a very difficult time in my life Hazel’s tarot reading gave me soothing. I work with tarot myself but Hazels interpretation and empathy made me realize new details I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Her words were truly helpful.” Andreas, Germany
